More than Just Food, Essentials for Everyday Life.<\/h2>\n

Non-perishables, household cleaning products and personal care items are distributed from the pantry along with gift cards when they\u2019re available. During the December holidays, each recipient household receives a holiday gift, as well.<\/p>\n

School-aged children benefit from an annual Back-to-School program that includes new
\nshoes, some clothing, school supplies, and haircuts.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

How We Use Your Donations.<\/h2>\n

The West Deerfield Township Food Pantry is made possible by donations from our community. You should know that if you make a cash donation, it will go to providing gift cards to local grocery stores.<\/p>\n

Donations of non-perishable food items, cleaning and personal care products are welcome. Food stamps may not be used on cleaning, personal care, or paper products, so these items are especially appreciated.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

A Gateway to Navigating Additional Resources.<\/h2>\n

If you or someone you know needs help, our food pantry\u2019s goal is to cooperate with other agencies and partners to connect those in need with available resources. Beyond nutritional support, these can include financial assistance, health care, housing, medical care and family counseling. Your Responsibility: BE PREPARED 15 MINUTES IN ADVANCE.<\/h2>\n

Our Going Places Service is not an emergency ambulance or medical transport service.
\nYou are responsible for getting to and from the van at your pickup location and at your
\nappointment location either on your own or with your own caregiver. Your caregiver may
\nride with you. Drivers are not allowed to enter homes to assist riders. Drivers are only
\nallowed to wait five minutes.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/section>\n
